Access and storage
No reader account, email address, payment, or access code is required. Practice history, mistakes, and writing drafts are stored in your browser when local storage is available. They do not sync to other devices. Use My progress to delete this local data. Clearing browser data also removes it.
Microphone and recordings
Microphone permission is optional and is requested only when you press Start recording. Recordings are created locally in your browser and are not uploaded by this app. Download a recording before leaving the item if you want to keep it. Closing or navigating away removes temporary recordings. Some browsers or devices may not support recording.
Audio
The included MP3 files use locally generated synthetic English voices. They are learning aids, not recordings from ETS or human pronunciation models. They do not represent every accent or the acoustic variety of a real exam. Transcripts can be revealed in study mode and at the end of a session.
Results and content
Closed-answer items receive practice percentages. Speaking and free writing are reviewed using models and checklists; there is no automatic AI evaluation. No practice result is an official or predicted TOEFL score. Sessions are not full-length or adaptive ETS exams. Repeated sessions recombine a finite bank of 184 items and prompts; content will repeat.
Hosting and costs
This app includes no advertising, analytics scripts, paid APIs, payment buttons, or third-party fonts. When deployed, the hosting provider processes requests needed to serve the site and may keep service logs under its own policies. The free pages.dev address avoids buying a domain. Hosting is subject to Cloudflare’s current free-plan terms and availability.
